This may be just my view (which can be wrong) but the intake is not the bottleneck of the motor. The intake side of the VG30DE(TT) is very efficient in atomizing and keeping velocity with low amounts of turbulence. What is the bottle neck for the TTs seems to be the stock manifolds. From most of the higher hp Z's they most likely have modified oem maifolds or aftermarket ones. So the idea of 1 TB will complicate things actually. Just think all the vacuum, idle control, emission control lines that are connected to the plenum.
